Daysi Torres, J.D.

A career built on helping people through the courts

Early years

Mrs. Torres was born in Southern California and lived most of her childhood in Jalisco, Mexico. She graduated from California State University, San Marcos with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. During her time at San Marcos she was a JusticeCorps member, serving two terms at the San Diego Superior Court assisting self-represented litigants with resolving important legal matters. It was there that she discovered her passion for the law and for helping people understand the court process.

Before the firm

Prior to joining Fontes Law Group, Daysi worked at a bankruptcy law firm in the Inland Empire for more than seven years. She also holds CTEC and PTIN registrations and is a California Notary Public.

Law school and licensure

Mrs. Torres graduated from Trinity Law School in 2020 and has practised law under a supervising attorney as a Provisionally Licensed Lawyer since 2021.

At Fontes Law Group

She joined the firm as a law clerk and provisionally licensed lawyer in 2021, and works closely with the attorneys on immigration law, family law, and workers’ compensation matters.
